Adoption - It's About Love
I had rough pregnancies and rough recoveries, so when we were pregnant with Jensen we prayed and prayed. Heavenly Father clearly told us that my body could not handle any more pregnancies, but that if we were supposed to have more children in our family, He would let us know, and we could adopt. Well, He has let Kaleb and I know in the past few months that we are indeed supposed to have more children in our family and that we are supposed to adopt! :)
We started all of our paper work over Spring Break. Then we got busy in finishing the semester, but now finals are over and we passed all of our classes, yeah!! This weekend we are taking the adoption classes. That puts us one step closer to adding to are family. The boys are so excited and we keep them updated on everything that we do and each time we complete something they ask if we can get our baby now. Jensen even wondered if we could just have our friends cute, chubby baby (sorry Jensen it doesn't work that way, besides I really don't think they would just give us Henry!)
So we still have a ways to go before we get a new baby in the family, but we still have time. The Lord has let us know that we are working in the right direction and we will keep following His guidance. I graduate the middle of December and then will be back to being a full-time mother, which would be the perfect time for a little one. We will keep you all posted on this exciting news!!

Slow Down
We had a tragedy in our little apartment complex yesterday and a little boy lost his life when he got backed over by someone who was in too big of a hurry to get somewhere. We are all sad and grieving and can hardly imagine the pain the family is going through. We are all scared too, because we let our kids play outside and it could have been anyone's kids.
Life can be so short.
And I've learned through many trials that we need to slow down.
Slow down our driving (even if it means we are late),
slow down our crazy schedules,
slow down and take time to spend with our families,
slow down and look at what means the most to us and then spend our time there,
slow down and say I love you to our families and friends,
slow down and enjoy the ride we call life.

Spring Has Finally Come
I think its time for a new family picture without the snow!! I'm so glad that it is finally warming up and the trees are starting to have leaves and the tulips are about to bloom. We have started planting our little garden, just the onions, but it's a start. (The we should be changed to Kaleb and the boys) Anyways, here's a couple really cool pictures that Kaleb took on his last fieldtrip (yes they really do have fieldtrips in his college classes!) Enjoy!
